about us

“Now more than ever, immigrants in our local communities need our support. They need to understand their rights, have access to legal services, develop emergency family plans and be protected from hate crimes and discrimination.”

Manuel Santamaría

“I believe so deeply that our nation is made stronger by the contributions of those born outside the US. Our goal is for e-immigrate to be a trusted online destination for immigrants and their extended support network to learn, get support and take safe and secure action.”

about e-immigrate

Our mission
Our mission is to aggregate dependable and trustworthy services, tools, trending news and resources for the needs of US residents seeking lawful permanent residency or citizenship.
Our Commitment
We’re committed to building and maintaining a free digital portal with comprehensive resources to learn more about the citizenship process and connect with experts for individuals to start (or finish) their journey to citizenship. For immigration service providers, it provides a simple platform to educate U.S. residents on the value of citizenship and the path to tomorrow and assist them in their journey.
Our values
We’re building a portal, a marketplace that aggregates the best resources and is welcoming, accessible, non-judgmental, non-threatening, helpful, trustworthy, well-meaning, educational, directional, dependable and patriotic in guiding immigrants towards citizenship.

Silicon Valley Community Foundation is a comprehensive center for philanthropy with visionary leadership, strategic grantmaking, and world-class expertise. SVCF believes the region’s continued prosperity and quality of life depend on our ability to create communities that recognize immigrants as assets and provide opportunities for all.

We play an exciting role in addressing the social, economic, and environmental challenges of our communities. SVCF provides leadership, expertise and capital to help address social issues in our region. We also serve as a resource for nonprofit, civic, government and philanthropic organizations.

SVCF’s immigration strategy:

Silicon Valley Community Foundation advances innovative philanthropic solutions to our region’s most challenging problems. Two of these challenging problems – the successful integration of immigrants and the inability of receiving communities to understand and recognize immigrants as real and potential assets in the community rather than as liabilities – are addressed through our immigrant integration strategy.

Our immigrant integration strategy has a two-pronged approach:

strengthening the legal services infrastructure, which seeks to address the need for affordable and reliable immigration legal services provided by nonprofit community organizations

adult English language acquisition, which seeks to promote English instruction, coordination and best practices among community colleges, adult education schools and community-based organizations.
